Just a quick reminder that it is Group Class Week!  This means there are no regular lessons. Here are your dates and times.


Group Class #1

Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Tuesday Febraury 20th from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Elementary: (2nd-6th grade)Wednesday, February 21st from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Junior High: Tuesday, February 20th from 5:00-6:15 p.m.

High School: Wednesday, February 21st from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

January Update

Hello and Happy New Year!

I hope you all enjoyed the Holiday Break and feel refreshed and ready to jump into the New Year! Here are a few dates to put into your your calendar as we start a new semester in the studio.  But before we do that just wanted to let you all know that Lindon Youth Orchestra and T.A.C.O. (The Awesome Children's Orchestra) are starting a new semester! We have some exciting things planned like a talented cellist coming to play a Vivaldi cello concerto with the Youth Orchestra and we are playing some pretty neat pieces with the children's orchestra (which may include Everything is Awesome from the Lego movie).  We really have a great time and the students grow so much as musicians! Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Tuesday Febraury 20th from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Studio Recital

There will be 3 options for a studio recital this semester to keep them nice and short! Please look at your schedules and let me know which recital would work best for you via this link.


 Recitals will be held at Lindon Community Center, 25 N Main St, Lindon Ut 84042. Please arrive 10 min early to tune and get ready.  Sunday best dress! Just a reminder that there are NO REGULAR LESSONS DURING RECITAL WEEK.

Recital #3 Wednesday March 21st at 6:00 p.m.


There will be NO lessons on the following dates.

January 15th- Martin Luther King Jr Day

May 28th-June 2nd- Last Week of School

December Update

Hello All!

Thank you for all of your efforts in the past recital.  Now that it is December 1st, I just wanted to remind everyone of the schedule this month.

I will be teaching normal lessons the first two weeks of December, and Group Class will be the third week.  Here are the dates.

Group Class #2

Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Monday, December 18th from 3:00-4:00 p.m.


Elementary: (2nd-6th grade) Monday, December 18th from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Junior High: Tuesday, December 19th from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

High School: Wednesday, December 20th at 6:oo p.m. - Performance at Bel Aire Assisted Living Facility, 436 700 N, Orem, UT 84097.  We will be performing Christmas music for the seniors at this facility.  The performance will be about 40 min.

There are NO REGULAR LESSONS DURING GROUP CLASS WEEK. 

After group classes there will be no lessons until Wednesday January 3rd.  We will then resume our normal schedule.  I am excited for the music of the season and look forward to working on this music with my students.  Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Fall Recital and Group Class Reminder

Hello All!

Thanks for voting on the recital.  It was pretty close but the later date was the winner.  The Fall Recital will be:

Monday, November 27th at 6:30 p.m.

or

Wednesday, November 29th at 6:30 p.m.


Please let me know if you have a conflict with either date and we will try to make one of the recitals work.  There will be no regular lessons the week of the recital but definitely some rehearsals for groups on Monday through Wednesday.

Next, here's just a little reminder that group classes are this week.  Group classes take the place of regular lessons for the week.  Here are the dates and times.

Group Class #1

Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Monday October 16th from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Elementary: (2nd-6th grade) Monday, October 16th from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Group Classes

Hello All!

Just wanted to update you with some Group Class and Recital Dates dates.  For those of you who are new, Group Classes are a great way for students to gain performance experience as well as learn music history and theory.  The very best part is there are donuts! Group Classes take the place of regular lessons for that week.   Here are our Group Class dates for this semester.

Group Class #1

Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Monday October 16th from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Elementary: (2nd-6th grade) Monday, October 16th from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Junior High: Tuesday, October 17th from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

High School: Tuesday, October 17th from 5:00-6:15 p.m.



Group Class #2


Little Ones: (Pr-k through 1st grade) Monday, Dcember 18th from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

High School: No group class but an opportunity to serve! We will be playing for the Lindon Senior Center during the break.  Details to come!


Recital Dates

I usually try to get this recital done the week before Thanksgiving but there have been some conflicts, so I'm putting the decision to you of when we should hold the recital.  I have sent you an email  with a google form where you can select your preference for recital dates. Change of Plans!

Hello All!

Slight change of plans! Found out we've been double booked due to a mistake in the computer system and so my options were either to change to a different park or do it inside.  As my back yard is too tiny to host and the other parks have little to no shade I've opted to have the recital inside.  Obviously this is disappointing and I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but we will have air conditioning! So the new location for the recital tomorrow will be at the Lindon Community Center where our regular recitals are held.  Don't hesitate to ask any questions.  See you tomorrow!
