Fall Update

Hello All!

Happy Labor Day!  I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the transition into school and Fall! Coming to you with a few updates today for our Fall Semester.  First on the list is the start of T.A.C.O (The Awesome Children's Orchestra) and L.Y.O. (Lindon Youth Orchestra). We started last week and it's not too late to join if you would still like to.  Please visit www.lindonchambermusicsociety.org for more info and registration.  Orchestra is a great place to motivate students, as well as practice note reading skills and ensemble playing. We also have at least one rehearsal where doughnuts are consumed. :) I would love to see any of you there and please feel free to ask any questions.


Next are group class and recital dates.

Group Class #1

Little Ones (Pre K- 1st grade)
October 10th, 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Elementary (2nd-6th grade)
October 10th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Junior High
October 11th, 3:00-5:00

High School
October 11th, 5:30- 6:45

Group Class #2

Little Ones (Pre K- 1st grade)
December 19th, 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Elementary (2nd-6th grade)
December 19th, 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Junior High
December 20th, 3:00-5:00

High Schoolers will be performing for the Senior Citizen center in lieu of a group class.


Recital Dates

November 14th, 6:00 p.m.

November 15th, 6:00 p.m.

Please let me know if you have a preference for a particular recital date or if you have a conflict with one of the nights.  The recital will be held at Lindon Community Center in the Arts Auditorium.  There will be NO lessons the week of the recital.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  Thanks a bunch for letting me teach your wonderful kiddos!
